What options are there for a *nix SNF distribution?

There are several ways you can go.

You could use SNFMilter with postfix or sendmail. That would allow you to break some connections during SMTP if you wish.

Another option would be to use our "ordinary" *nix distribution with which you could script a filter in postfix or if you have SpamAssassin installed you could use our SNF4SA plugin. Most *nix distributions have a tendency to include some variant of Postfix + SpamAssassin -- so many go with that option, however Spam Assassin is definitely not required.

All SNF distributions are found on our Products page.

With any of the above choices you can enhance your filtering by adding our truncate.gbudb.net RBL to block inbound connections --- it is reportedly conservative enough to be safe for blocking connections on most systems -- and that was its design.
